Never thought of making this bread because raisins not a big fan of my family until I saw this recipe from Soh's blog....it looks so soft, aroma & yummy! Should give it a try and it turned out so pretty, even my daughter said like the one we used to see at store.
Recipe from Soh Pin Tee but I made a bit changes.
Ingredients:
300g bread flour
50g sugar
5g yeast
1 egg
A pinch of salt
100ml milk
20ml pandan juice
30g butter
3/4 cup of raisins
Direct methods :
Mix everything together until it turns a dough then only add in butter and knead it to become a smooth & elastic dough.
Rest the dough for 1st prove to double size.
Punch out and release the air of the dough and divide it into about 12 equal portions, leave it rests about 15 minutes.
Roll the individual dough with a wooden roller and spread some raisins on it then roll it up with your finger tips.
Rest the dough for final prove to double size.
Put into preheated oven 350°F for 18 minutes (temperature depend on individual oven).
