Ang Ku Kuih (Green Ku Kuih)

Among the Malysian Kuih, this is one of my very favorite. When I travelled back to Malaysia each time, this Ang Ku cannot be missed.

Back to today's program, omg! I'm still sitting down here at McDonald in Greeley town since 8am this morning and now the time is 10.50am, another an hour half have to kill until picking Sam up....."Sam, I hope you doing well in your SAT".

Recipe from a friend Vera Lee

Ingredients

Skin dough:
(A)
3oog glutinous flour
150g sugar
200ml water
3 tbsp
(combine the A ingredients)

(B)
40g rice flour
200ml water
2 tbsp oil
(cook the B ingredients until thicken and cool down for later use)

Filling
300g mung bean
200g sugar
1/4 tsp salt
8-10 tbsp oil
1000ml water
(soak the mung bean overnight and steam it with the other ingredients together until soft, mash and knead it to become a dough)

Methods:

Combine (A) and (B) together, knead it to become a smooth dough then divide it into 30g each.
For filling, divide it into 26g each.
Wrap the skin dough with the filling and mould it.....
Steam for 7 minutes then you can enjoy it....hehehe!!!
